FS: 2008 Fender American Standard Jazz - $795

SOLD

OK, I'm down to my last Alder / Rosewood bass...

$795 Shipped

More Pics...

This one is a great example of a New American Standard in Blizzard Pearl with a Rosewood Fretboard. I played about 10 or so to get to this one and it's set up perfectly with just a touch of grind. If you are into the classic 60s Jazz sound this one has it. The Fender single coils really match this bass well. I put the original pickguard back on the bass so it still has the plastic with no marks or swirling. Just a few hours of playing time on it. She needs a new home as my ash and maple basses get all the play now...

Enjoy...

Here are the specs from the Fender site in case you have been living under a rock this year...

Besides everything that's mentioned at Fender.com the included SKB TSA approved case is simply "the best" I actually purchased one for another of my basses that I fly with to replace the incredible weight and dubious protection of my previous ATA case.

Not really looking for trades unless they are Ash and Maple basses...Looking for the right Lakland DJ or $795 shipped...

This is a very light Alder bass. Comes in at just over 8 lbs with no neck dive...

Another Pickguard..

Borrowed another pickguard for another look...

Not included but it's a Jeannie Custom that fits perfectly and has the trussrod notch...

I'm interested. Is the bass as clean as it looks? Any nicks, scratches, etc.? Does it play well- straight neck, good action?

Thanks,
Rob K.

Looks, feels, sounds great, perfect neck and can take the action low depending on your playing style...

I think these pics are pretty accurate...

that pearloid pickguard really makes the bass much nicer. I also think a tort guard would look good too. I think Beav from The Low End has a LEJ in that color with tort guard. At least I think I seen it posted here awhile back...
