2008 Fender MIA Precision Bass SOLD!
$850 Shipped CONUS No Trades Please!

Up for sale is a 2008 Fender MIA Precision Bass in near mint condition. I bought this bass about a year ago and am selling it because I’ve found that I’m really not a P-bass kinda guy.

This (I think) was the first year Fender started using the high mass bridge, lighter weight tuners, and rolled fingerboard edges. This bass is in excellent shape. I’ve played it very little in the year I’ve had it. It looked like the original owner played it very little as well. It has a nearly new mirror pickguard installed. I’m including the original parchment pickguard also. It has very little fret wear and plays like a dream. The only flaws I could find are a tiny ding on the end of the headstock and one near the jack.

The really cool thing about this bass is the flame figuring in the fretboard. You don’t see too many like that.

Specs:

Candy Cola finish
Nearly new mirror pickguard
Original parchment pickguard
Maple neck and board
Original HSC in very good condition
Some orginal case candy included (strap, case keys, owner’s manual, allen wrench, cleaning cloth, instrument cable, and sticker-sorry, I don’t have the truss wrench but one should be easy to come by at a Fender dealer)
Serial #Z8100653

Take in mind that, due to my work schedule, it’s possible that I will only be able to ship this on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday.

As I’m sure I’ve probably forgotten to mention some things, feel free to ask any questions.

Sorry, but I WILL NOT ship internationally.

Paypal or USPS money order accepted. Paypal e-check preferred.

BUMP for an amazing color and neck.

I would love that on a J bass.

Sorry, been busy the last couple of days! I'll weigh it tomorrow but it feels quite light to me and I don't remember much in the way of neck dive but I'll check on that too.

9.2 lbs. on the bathroom scale (don't know if it's very accurate, though).

As far as neck dive goes, I suppose it depends on your definition of "bad". If you're sitting down, put the bass on your leg without a strap, the neck does dive. I've yet to own a bass that didn't do that. It takes very little effort to hold the neck up with your left hand. All in all, I'd say that I've owned basses that were much, much worse in the way of neck dive.

Great thanks for getting me the info. I used to own an older 90's P and it had pretty bad neck dive wearing a strap. That's why I asked.
