FS 2008 Fender P Bass

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale: 2008 Fender P Bass in Blizzard Pearl that is like new. Bought this from RockBoxBass not long ago. Thought I needed to have a 4 string P Bass on hand but alas it just sits and doesn't get the love it should. This bass is in as new condition except some playing scratches on the black pickguard.

The maple fretboard does have a flame to it that is not normally seen on Fenders. Don't know if it is a special or just got lucky and ended up with the flame but it is definitely a cool looking fretboard.

I am attaching pictures from the previous thread because I can't take any better. Comes with the same hard case I received it in which is not the original case but will serve great for shipping and keeping it in.

FS 2008 Fender Precision Bass Flamed Maple !! Like New!!!

If you are looking for a very nice P Bass that is not the same color as most others and has a sexy flamed maple fretboard this may just be the one.

$895 OBO shipped to the 48 states. No trades just straight sale.

Thanks for looking!

Bump for a great bass. I have an '08 P and Jazz. My Jazz is Blizzard Pearl, and I love that color. I actually think it looks better with the original white p/g, especially with a maple board. But sweet either way. I had a tort on my Blizzard Pearl/rosewood Jazz for awhile, but put the white guard back on because I thought it complements the color better.

Really? I think that color looks terrible with white and I never would have considered it until I saw it with the black. Sweet bass bump.

Yeah, IMO definitely. It's funny though. When they first came out, I thought that if I ended up getting one with a maple board, I'd put a black p/g on it. I got a great deal on my BP Jazz, but it had rosewood.

Somebody here on TB had a BP/maple with the original white guard on it. He posted an action stage shot, and that bass looked killer. I'm normally not very big on white p/g's, but on the BP, I love them. They're one of the few colors with which I prefer the white guard. ESPECIALLY with maple!! Different strokes, I guess...

I do have the original white OEM pick guard that is included with the bass, so you can have your choice. Still has the original Fender stickers on it. Don't know if Robert ever used the bass with this pickguard.

You will love the flame on this fretboard.

Must resist. Was gonna buy it, but I'm not a good enough bass player for this bass.

You are good enough. This bass will probably have you out on tour with a major band by next week.

Don't do the MIM, you deserve this one!

LOL, damn straight I deserve this! But the boss (aka wife) is doing a little "interior decorating" and um, well, that sorta puts a hole in the budget.

Any intrest in a trade? I have a rare Schector B bass. Its 4 string but set up, nut and all for B tuning. Emg hz's replaced with Emg dc and Cm. Set neck joint. Flat black, very powerful. Bound neck, beyond stable tuning. Its bad ass

If you are doing interior decorating and can't hide this small amount of money into the project we need to talk.

"Honey that Blizzard Pearl bracing we need is a tad more than I thought it would be. You don't want the marble counter top to crack do you? We had better spend the money now versus later when we have to replace the whole thing!"

And if there is any plumbing taking place it should really be no problem.

And if worse comes to worse, P bass does double duty as a dining room table.
