This is a 2008 Indonesian Skyline JO5 CS. Plekked, with a Maple board with dots and a factory installed Bone Nut. It was built brand new at the end of 2008 (s/n:JO080919988) as a CS with the Chi-Sonics installed (along with the Tort guard) at Lakland the time of purchase.
I purchased from the original owner a few months back, it has never been gigged or spent the night out of it's GigBag, and the bass is pretty much in the same condition as it was the day it was delivered to me.
I'm simply spoiled on the Lakland 4-String models and can't get back use to the 5-String models.
This is your chance to own a very nice "factory optioned" Joe Osborn 5-String with ChiSonic pups, Tort Pick Guard, and Bone Nut.
Shipped in used GigBag or used Black Skyline HSC (your choice), properly packaged and insured. Checkout the comments in my Feedback. I am asking $1,100.00 FIRM, ConUS Only!
PM with serious inquiries only.

I just can't get back on the 5-Strings. I've heard that before and thought, whatever. Now, I know firsthand.
I'm simply passing on a similar great deal to the next one inline. The Bone Nut is also an up-charge and a nice factory touch.

As the details state, this listing is for Continental US (Lower 48) only.
I'll advise if this detail changes. Sorry.
Regards,

These guys are dead on. The ChiSonics will have you looking for the hidden battery compartment as they are quite a bit hotter/more sensitive than the stock pups. Seriously.
Here's the breif description form Lakland's site. They of course have professionally recorded sound clips of the various option levels: The CS series features Lakland's new Chi-Sonic pickups. Available in both single coil and humbucking configurations, Chi-Sonics are designed for high output with a wide frequency response. Chi-Sonics give you warm, rounded bottom, detailed mids, and a smooth, natural
high end.
Hear the ChiSonics in the 44-60 --> www.Lakland.com/ac_j-sonic.htm
Standard pups --> www.Lakland.com/ac_JO5.htm
Of course you'll need a decent pair of headphones or speaker system to better distinguish them for yourself. We all will interpret sounds clips differently.
One thing is for certain, the Chi upgrade alone will run you about $400 bones at Lakland HQ.

Due to the current interests and quality of this particular bass, the price is firm guys.
If there is any doubt on price, I encourage you to price one up with the same factory options and compare for yourself.
I am primarily looking to sell this bass. However, if you have an interesting trade offer for another Lakland, provide me with the details. I'm interested in 4-String models, preferably in pearl white or translucent white. I see myself as a collector/hobbyist, so overall condition is key for any trade offers.

It has become my #1 bass right now. The Chi's are hot! Very big and full sounding...able to be really warm, and also can get a very nice growl. I think the term "jazz on steriods" has gotten way overused on here, but that is exactly what this is. A jazz on steroids that is passive.
Great bass and a great seller. Someone pick this thing up. You will not regret it.
