Arrow FS: 2008 Lakland Skyline Darryl Jones (AC model)

2008 Skyline DJ, natural ash with black blocked neck (ala Adam Clayton). This one is made in Indonesia, Plek'd by the good folks at Lakland in Chicago, and has the Lakland pickups.

Excellent condition, (check the pics!) light player wear on the pickguard. Plays like a mofo and sounds fan-freakin'-tastic! This one is super lightweight weighing in at 7lbs 15oz on my digital fish scales!

Comes in original Lakland hardcase.

No trades please. ***Keeping it.*** shipped in the lower 48. US sales only.

Nice bass, but there is something wrong with the description...
This pic here from your Photobucket album says it's actually Made in Korea:

Therefore it is probably not Pleked as well, unless you had it done later.
No big deal, they are great basses regardless.
Good luck on the sale!

FYI - a Plek job at Lakland is $125.00 with you paying shipping both ways. I believe that includes a complete setup. Nice bass.

Yeah, typo on my part.. thinking "..made in Korea not in Indonesia" came out as "made in Indonesia". According to the hang tag it's been Plek'd by Lakland.

At any rate I'm keeping this one.. looks like I don't need to move it after all.

Thanks everyone for the interest

Glad you were able to keep it!

And you just posted very important info!

It is common belief that only Indonesian basses were Plek'd simply because they switched plants before they got the Plek machine.

Now your bass tells us otherwise. That's very cool. Would you care to tell us what date is in your Plek tag?

Sorry to bother but for us Lakie-heads this is great info.

No worries; It's dated 5-29-09 signed by what looks like "Jim Wlm___" (can't make it out... maybe "Jim" is also a MD..)

Since you're keeping it, can you please close this thread so I don't keep seeing it and getting all excited over it?
