FS/FT: 2008 Warwick Corvette $$ 5 B.O.

Sign in to disble this ad
Offered is my 2008 Warwick Corvette $$ 5 String Bolt On in Nirvana Black. Included is the original docs, folder, tools, a can of wax (from another 'wick) and the Warwick Rockbag. It was restrung about a month ago with MTD Nickels and again has never left the house so the strings are essentially new. I weighed this bass on a very accurate scale last year and it came in at a very reasonable 9.2 lbs including the leather strap you see my picture.

For the most part, this bass has been played by me only in church once a week for the last year up until about last November. I have gone back to playing a 4 string and this baby is getting lonely. I will say if you are a chord player this bass just absolutely sings when playing chords in the right places, that I will truly miss about it because neither of my 4 strings even come close to those tones. It has some minor dings that are going to be impossible to photograph and some shine where my forearm rests when I play it. I have shielded the pickup cavities and control cavities with copper tape. Also includes Dunlop straplocks. I’d say the overall condition is very good but not mint. There are no breaks in the black finish.

I love this bass but it's much easier on me if I have two basses at one time instead of my current three. This one has become the odd man out only because I am just not feelin' the love for a 5'er these days.

$930 shipped to the lower 48 states. Offers considered and Paypal okay.

Only trades I am interested in are:
Genz Benz Shuttle Max 12
Bergantino 1x12's (a set ideally), 2x10's, 4x10's
SWR Golight 2x10, 4x10
I may be open to other high-end NEO 2x10's as well

I really need to try a 5 string version of these. My 4 stringer was cool.

haha! I think I'll wait until a local store gets one I can try. I don't like the idea of a $900+ dollar tryout.

This is my exact bass.....It is wicked versatile.....active/passive. switchable pickup config, serial, parallel, single pole, seperate high and low tone controls for active only, and pick up balance. A great bass for setting up....bridge is infinitely adjustable; just a nut III. Mines 2006 vs 2008 but same neck (ovangkol/wenge fretboard). I use it for Blues, and some Rock.

Great passive sound...great active sound.....I use with GK 700RB-II and it BOMPS.

Nice tight B string, especially with ss Sadowsky flats.

Been thinkin' about going to a 5-er? This is it!

bumeropolis.

I also added some more trade options though I'd prefer a cash sale.
