Arrow FS: 2009 G&L BABP L-1000.... 1.5" neck

2009 G&L L-1000. These were a limited run built by G&L for the members over at Bad Ass Bass Players. There were only approximately 24 or so of these made and G&L has said there will be no more L-1000's.

This one is a super lightweight at less than 8.5lbs, alder, rosewood board, and slim 1.5" neck. Tobaccoburst finish. These are USA made. Comes with all paperwork and Original G&L case.

Excellent condition. Check out the photos. The plastic cover is still on the control cavity.

No trades please. $1100 shipped in the lower 48. US sales only please.

These basses kick royal butt! I had a few early 80's L1K's, and sold them (quite heavy), and bought CraigB's BABP L1000. I think it sounds easily as good as the old ones, has a thin neck, and is light as can be. I know a lot of our G&L fanatics think the early L1K's & L2K's have a certain mojo that the new ones don't have, but I can't tell the difference!
Bump for a killer bass!

Bad Ass Bass Players - Home = BABP

A huge repository of G&L afficionados (many are members here as well). The BABP members exercised their radical devotion to this model and were able to convince G&L to do one last, limited run of the venerable L-1000.
