Here's a like new 2009 Pete Hilton Reverse Scroll 5-string that's absolutely stunning. Was purchased brand new from The Low End in November 2009. Build completion date was 10/23/09. Original purchase price was $5000 (good luck finding any discount on these!).
This bass is absolutely pristine! Not a mark anywhere - it is exactly as I received it brand new in November, less about 15 hours of my gentle playing time alone in my basement studio. Never gigged - never enjoyed by anyone but me.

The pix do all the talking here - you couldn't ask for a more beautiful looking bass. Pete's work is absolutely first-rate, and he's at the top of his game with this bass. He's currently still working as a builder for Carl Thompson, but with work like this, he's bound to pursue this full time on his own eventually.

This bass is currently strung up E to High C. But Pete made 2 nuts for me, one E to C, and another B to G. Both are included, so you can re-string it low B to G very easily if you prefer. The nut is not glued in, but simply held down by the tension of the strings (this isn't unusual - all Pete's basses are constructed this way). Thus, this instrument can be strung to your liking, just be sure to use to correct nut for proper tuning, set-up, and intonation.
Original gig bag, spec sheet, and hand carved B to G nut is included.

Note that the only reason I'm selling is that I've decided that I'm just not a 5-string kinda guy. Much as I'd like to be, I'm much more comfortable with 4-strings. If this bass was a 4-string, it wouldn't be going anywhere!
Ask any questions - happy to answer! Please check my feedback - I've done several sales through TB, and much prefer it to eBay. But feel free to check my feedback there as well, under user name asg618.
Thanks for looking!
