FS: 2010 Fender American Standard P-Bass: Black w/Mint PG, Maple Fretboard

For Sale Only: 2010 Fender American Standard Precision Bass. Black body, maple fretboard. It's so beautiful it makes me cry to sell it! Never gigged, never been near a cigarette. I bought it new and as a beginner at the "advanced" age of 58, this instrument is just way WAY too good for me. I will never be worthy. I picked up a used Aerodyne Jazz and I think that's more suited to me, being lighter and all.

The workmanship on this Made in USA instrument is flawless to my eye. The frets are done extremely well (the frets on my Aerodyne are terrible in comparison, but I digress).

I replaced the factory w/b/w pickguard with a Fender mint (m/b/m) with black screws (instead of chrome). And the original chrome knobs have been replaced with black knobs. I think it looks awesome. I'll include the original chrome knobs and screws if you want them.

The lightweight Hipshot "F" tuners on this thing are the best tuners I've come across yet, including other Hipshot models. They're smooth and very precise. This thing stays in tune. The balance is very good too (I hate unbalanced instruments).

Comes with all the case candy and a set of D'Addario extra long very light gauge Chrome Flatwounds. Currently strung with original Fender strings.

Includes the original Fender hardshell flight case. Will be packed in the Fender factory box for shipping.

There's a tiny chip in the pickguard at the opening for the truss rod adjustment. It's so small nobody will know except you. The truss rod works fine by the way.

Weight is 8.3 pounds according to a digital postal scale.

Price is $900 including shipping to anywhere in the continental US. PayPal preferred.

Yes, technically this is a relist. I pulled it due to having too much other stuff going on with work at the time to pay enough attention to this.
