Hi everyone,
I'm looking to sell this 2010 Black and Maple MIA Fender P bass. The bass is in brand new condition and has never been gigged. It has been kept in a smoke free environment since I ordered it new from GC.com back in September. Honestly I think the bass has got less than 12 hours of total playing time on it but it sounds great! According to my bathroom scale, it weighs 9lbs. It is currently wearing a set of DR Sunbeams.
I'm selling it for two reasons:
1. I'm a teacher and I'm facing being laid off in the next couple of months so I could really use the money
2. I built another p-bass and don't feel the need to have 2 of the same type of instrument right now
The pups have been upgraded to Lindy Fralin's (standard wound) but I still have the original pups if you prefer. I have also changed the pickguard to a genuine Fender Black but again, I have the original if you prefer.
The bass comes with a Fender G&G tolex hardshell case and some case candy including the fender strap (see pics). Everything pictured minus the guitar stand is included.
The bass will be professionally packed in a guitar box and shipped via my local UPS store. I will ship to the lower 48.
I'm asking $950.00 professionally packed and shipped to your front door. Sorry but not interested in any trades at this time. Payment is Paypal only. This is my first bass sale on TB and I've included as many pictures as possible. If you have any questions or would like more pics please PM me and I would be happy to help you out.
Thanks for looking!

Of course, the color combo looks even better in real life. I Would love to hang on to this one but just can't justify two of the same instrument right now. I'm sure there's someone out there who could use a solid, reliable bass like this!

Free bump, and good luck with the sale.

The P-Bass growl is also alive & well. | I almost jumped on a P-5 but decided to build my P4 and tune it to standard B. A B string on a P bass is epic, I've never heard anything like it. The maple board probably really helps that low B to cut if you need it to!

Maybe if its still around then.. I have bookmarked this thread for sure. Bump.

So far, there's been some interest but nothing official yet. If its still available it would be my pleasure to work out a local sale!

I heard some Pink Floyd yesterday and it reminded me: get your Roger Waters fix right here! The more I look at the bass the more I wish I didn't have to sell it. It really nails that whole look/sound/vibe.
