FS: 2010 Lakland Skyline 44-60 Inca Silver

I've been on a bass buying spree lately and I just purchased a Pentabuzz that I can't really afford so I'm offering up this beautiful Lakland at an unheard of price for a bass of this quality.

This is a 2010 Lakland Skyline 44-60 Limited Edition finished in Inca Silver with matching headstock. I have the original receipt from the original owner showing that the bass was purchased new from Bass Club Chicago for $1,049.00 in December 2010.

It comes with a vintage style Fender Stack Knob control plate (not pictured - $100.00 value). The original control plate had some defective pots so it's been replaced with the Stack Knob setup.

The bass has one ding about the size of the tip of a ball point pen on the bottom edge near the control plate. Other than that it's in perfect condition! Hardly any play wear at all.

$775.00 shipped and insured in the CONUS

The bass will ship in a Road Runner Zero-G Style Soft Case.

Thanks for the testimonial Will. Like I already said, I'd never sell it this low if I hadn't just bought me a new Pentabuzz. It's worth quite a bit more IMO. I just need the cash right now.....

Yeah they had one of these at BassNW and it was awesome. Very thick J bass tone. I actually tried a few different J basses and it was the clear winner. It sounded so natural. I'm actually tempted to pick this up, but I have my eye on a US Lakland at the moment. I'm gonna have to save all my pennies if I'm going to get it

I have heard from several of you who would prefer the bass with the original three knob control plate installed. So I have already ordered the pots and capacitor to repair it and will offer the bass with either control plate as soon as the repairs have been completed.

I am also going to raise the price back up to where it started shortly so if anyone wants to commit to buy it at it's current price, now would be a good time to PM me.

I have also had several folks try to get me to lower the price even further for one reason or another. I will not sell it for less than the currently advertised price of $775.00 so please, no more "low ball" offers. They are wearing me out!

This is a beautiful modern jazz bass in virtually perfect condition and we all know that it's easily worth what I'm currently asking for it, if not more.............

I'm amazed. I've always liked dual V and T controls. Adds a lot more versatility.

Amazed again. After shipping and paypal fees you will be netting about a hundred bucks less that your asking price. That's a big chunk. Sometimes you have to recognize a good price and be willing to pay for it. Not everything is negotiable.
