Up for sale is a 2010 Lakland Skyline 44-60 limited edition with bound and blocked rosewood board (1 of 100 made). The color is teal green, but it has a darker tone to it in real life.
I just bought this bass, but due to a few problems with the deal that left a bad taste in my mouth, I'd like to let this bass move on to a new home. It has been recently set up by one of the best luthiers in Texas (Mark Cigainero), and it has a brand new set of Chromes on it, so it's ready to play!
It comes with the original Lakland HSC and keys, the PLEK tag, hex tools, the receipt from the recent setup, etc. (all in the pics below).
Now, when this bass was shipped to me, UPS dropped the box and the case was damaged (you can see in the pics below, it's where the horn rests against the hard foam. It also has a couple of very small nicks in the tolex), but the luthier who did the setup checked the bass thoroughly and said the bass itself isn't damaged in any way.
When I ship it, I will make sure that it is well packed, I promise!
I just paid $950 for it, but given the damage to the case and my desire to move on, it's priced to sell at $850 shipped. Sorry, no trades.
