FS 2011 Fender American Deluxe Jazz V SB/RW B&B W/Aguilar Pickups 9.4 Lbs.

I have owned this bass for a few months and it is absolutely killer! Flawless fit & finish and it sounds amazing.
The pickups were upgraded by a professional to Aguilar 5J-60s ($185 for the pickups alone).
These sound awesome passive & active mode.
Traditional Fender sound in passive mode and great modern sounds in active.
This bass has an active/passive switch to switch between the 3 band eq in active and the passive tone control.
The B string is super tight and has great definition....NOT your typical Fender B
This bass has been played but is in excellent condition. No dings or scratches.
Currently set up with lowish action and strung with DR nickel Lo-Riders and will include a set of SS Lo-Riders, and a set of Smith Compressors.
Also has Schaller/Fender straplocks.
Comes with SKB TSA/ATA case, all the case candy, tools, and leather Fender strap.
Being a 2011 I have had no noise issues with this one.
Save a few hundred off of a new one and get this with some sweet sounding Aguilar pickups already installed.
9.4 LBS!!!

So why am I selling it?
I have a baby on the way! (Jan 1) and I am cutting back on playing so I think one bass is going to be sufficient for the time being. My wife bought the other bass for me so I can't let that one go....believe me the Deluxe Jazz V wouldn't be going anywhere if the 75RI didn't have sentimental value.

Sold

Paypal shipped lower 48 US
If you don't need to use paypal we can lower the price a bit.
International sales are no problem, but you pay all shipping/customs/tax

I would be interested in an IPad 2 as a partial trade

Bump for a really nice bass....these are terrific, and I'm particularly fond of the alder/rosewood flavor, like this one. And the 3TB finish against those fingerboard blocks...slurp.

I owned one just like this...unfortunately one of the early ones plagued with horrible noise issues. Otherwise, I'd still own it. It'd definitely be interesting to hear the Aguilar pickups. All the best with the transactions.

Pisses me off a bit that this appears a little nicer than my '09 Classic Custom. What a beautiful Jazz. If I had the scratch I'd buy to make my CS and my Marcus Miller V jealous. Best of luck with sale!
