FS: 2011 Fender American Deluxe V ASH/MAPLE price drop

Sign in to disble this ad
2011 American Deluxe V Ash/Maple in new condition.

Dropped the price : $1475 $1450 $1400 shipped and PayPaled

Trade interest is zero, sorry I have everything I need at the moment

9 lbs on the scale, not bad at all for a new Fender, many are coming in at 9.5 and 10

A few light scratches on the pickguard in the usual place, from a little slapping.

No damage, no dings, no dimples, no pimples, etc etc. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN.

Everything is fully functional. I copper shielded the control cavity.

There are no noise issues for me with this bass, it's not dead quiet like a full on Bart or EMG system, but what is?

This bass plays and sounds great. This neck feels like a Nordstrand product, very very very fast, sleek and smooth feeling.

The ash body has a light almost milky quality to it, with some interesting naturally occurring patterns in the wood that make it interesting and really aesthetic, beautiful.

It's possible to get a decent P-Bass vibe on this bass, and passive mode sounds great and is a nice alternative to active.

Dropped the price : $1475 $1450 shipped and PayPaled. These are $1799 new. This one has the control cavity shielded, it's a little lighter than some other Fenders, and the grain is awesome!

That is a really nice piece of ash. Been seriously thinking of moving back to one of these newer Fenders...

I like this anomaly in the grain, this is the most distinctive Fender I've seen. The visual reminds me of what I've seen on some pretty expensive basses in the past.

I've owned a few Fenders, I'll give you my take. The newer models with N3 pickups sound more vintage to my ears compared to the SCN pickups of the 2009 earlier phase. .The SCN has a bigger warmer low end but I thought it was less transparent in the mids somehow.

This bass can sound fairly traditional in passive mode, (albeit these are stacked coils, not as barky as true single coils) and also sound modern enough for those slap enthusiasts. The frequency of the midrange, and the "Q" work really wel to add more "body" without sounding unnatural or "boinky".

Played the 4 string version of this yesterday at a local music shop. Killer! Liked it better than my old alder/rw one I had, and I loved that bass! I could totally see putting a neck pickup cover on this and getting that Marcus 70's vibe. Über cool!

I'm actually eyeing for this bass. If this stays until march (for sure this is sold by that time. lol) then for sure this will be shipped in my door step. sigh...

oh, by the way, do you ship internationally?
