I picked this up a while ago. I really dig the new American Deluxe series that Fender is putting out. The block inlays and 70's styling are KILLER. Add to that some "2008+ Fender manufacturing" and you have some of the greatest basses Fender has ever manufactured.
I don't like 5-strings though

Bass is in excellent condition. I wouldn't call it mint, but there's very few scratches on it. No buckle rash even! Very well taken care of. 99% stock (strap buttons have been replaced with Schaller straplocks). Comes with Fender SKB hard shell case.
Mostly looking for a sale. I would definitely consider trading this for the right 2011+ block and bound Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass
