I have here a 4 month new Jazz Deluxe in excellently-new condition. The previous owner sent it to me with a bad bridge pickup AND bridge ground wire not connected to the bridge. I'm guessing this is what shorted out the pickup. All repaired and set-up by a qualified Fender tech in Jacksonville, FL. EXCEPT for the pickup. Fender is horrible with warranty, believe me. They said the warranty is not transferable, previous owner says I took too long in getting the bass back to him. Oh well, another lesson learned. My feedback is spot on, no worries about me.

This bass has been professionally set-up. Action at 17th fret is at 2mm. You can go lower w/o any buzz.
The neck is awesome. I never would have thought this came from the Mex factory. I guess they've stepped things up quite a bit over the last few years!
