FS: 2011 MIA P-bass 3TS / Maple

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale is my 2011 MIA P-bass.

This is a standard model. I've swapped the tort pickguard for a black one as I think it looks way better. The original tort pickguard is included with the protective plastic still on it. I don't know the weight but I'd guess it's sub 9 pounds, pretty standard for this model.

The bass includes the Fender supplied TSA lock SKB hard case and all the unopened case candy. It's currently strung with D'Addario Chromes and I will also include a set of T.I. flats which have probably been played about 3 hours total.

I love this bass I just just don't love the way a p-bass sounds in my world and with my playing style. I like the feel of a p-bass so much I'm putting a parts bass together which is essentially a p-bass with a very different pickup configuration! But that's another story all together.

Trades plus cash from you that interest me are: Shuttlemax 9.2, Markbass LM II, LM III, F500, or something along those lines, and an Eden WTX-500 are probably what would be most interesting to me.

One small ding at the tip of the headstock but that's it. I've had it since September when I bought it brand new.

$800 shipped, CONUS. Save yourself $200 and get a free set of lightly used $60 TI flats.

That is an American Standard...you can tell because it is string thru...and the tuners.

Yep, no kidding Rog. My question, if anyone knows, is why do most of the American mades have "American Series" in cursive font on the rear of the neck. Thanks.

I've had two of these basses and paid MIA prices for them from AMS and never have any of them said "American Series". However as shown in the pictures it does say Made in USA.

Bump for new amp only trade options.

If you happen to expand your trade horizons to active basses, I have a lovely Spector I'd be willing to send you along with some Benjamins.

Yea, I found out today that the "American Standard" basses have just the serial# on the back of the headstock.

It's the "American Special" bass models that have the 'American Series' stamped on the back of headstock.
These basses have no options and cost slightly less than the "American Standards"
Glad we got that cleared up.

IMO I think the 3TB is one of the most played out fender color choice but there is still something so sexy about a Sunburst maple combo that makes me drool every time!! Beauty of a bass BUMP!!!
