FS 2012 Fender AVRI ’62 Precision Bass 3TSB - New

FS 2012 Fender AVRI ’62 Precision Bass 3TSB - New

For Sale Only: 2012 Fender AVRI ’62 Precision Bass 3TSB. This is NEW except that I removed the pickguard plastic and took the case candy out of the plastic bags. I bought this last January, on impulse, when I heard they were discontinued. Unfortunately, those clearance prices were over, so I paid Bass Central’s regular discount price.

I have a Fender Custom Shop ’59 P Bass and a CS ’60 P Bass, so the AVRI was played twice here at home and that’s it. The pup and bridge covers have not been mounted and the holes haven’t been drilled. The pics show TI Flats, but I put the Fender Rounds back on. It hasn’t been registered and will come with the original receipt, original Fender box, and all the case stuff. No sense letting it just sit here.

Weighs in at 9.0 lbs. on my postal scale.

Price is $1,345.00 firm, shipped and insured.

PayPal or USPS Money Order

Super-sweet retro funk machine! Some subtle differences from the "new AV" '63 reissue, but I really dig the vintage tint on the neck and the slab rosewood fretboard on my '62. And the price difference is not subtle at all. Someone will be very happy with this. Evening bump. GLWTS!

Thanks. It is a sweet bass; I also like the vintage tint. My CSs don't have it; their necks look like girls on the beach in early June (no tan yet).
