It's been Richard Bona Imperial Month here at the shop -- three of them in as many weeks.* Of course each one of them is one of our babies and bringing them into the World probably gives us at least as much joy as our customers (hopefully) get when playing them.
In many of our builds the top wood plays a fairly small role in the overall tone of the finished instrument.* Not so with a Bona Imperial.* The density and weight of Olive wood adds some definite brightness to the overall mix.
Bass is 100% Perfect Condition, not a single mark or scratch on it. Has not been gigged with and has only been used in a smoke free studio. Comes in original fodera case with all paperwork and accessories.
Will ship out from Australia through DHL Express to anywhere in the world, 3-5 business day transit time (unless customs hold it up), US buyers won't have to pay import duties (as it's made in the US) but other countries outside Australia and the US probably will.
Price is firm, only possible trade i'd consider would be a Jerzy Drozd 33" Oracle with 17mm spacing. Preferably 6 string but would also consider a 5 string. I will give you a fair price on trade for the right bass. NO OTHER TRADES !!!!!
I am speechless.
Leo makes an earthquake... GLwts man, awesome foderass...:bassist::bassist:
Holllyyyy...
a work of art
My personal opinion is this is the best looking Fodera, i know there are lots of really fancy tops out there but there is something about this one. Maybe because it looks exactly like it sounds, Warm and buttery.
When I ordered my Fodera, I realy wanted the same top....But no more...
If you have an Oracle you wish to trade could you include the specs in the first PM you send me, that way i can let you know straight away if we should continue discussions or not.
Just makes it a little easier and time saving.
My question is, why would you want to sell this bass, this bass looks like it has everything- looks, craftsmanship,& most important tonal ecstasy, what more could you want.
Believe me if I had the funds I would be buying this bass from you.
Each bass plays and sounds different, it's not about technically the best built bass, it's just about the right bass for me, could be a $1000 bass, who knows.
Great wood combination on this one. Good luck with the sale crosstick!
Beautiful! I didn't know there was another one in Australia... Maybe not for much longer!
Good luck with the sale!
AWESOME BASS BUMP!!!!
PM sent, I have Jerzy Drozd Prodigy Limited 6 strings>
