For sale -- my beloved 20th Anniversary 5HS Stingray, flame top. Excellent/mint condition, beautiful, with mint condition matching anniversary case. This 2007 limited edition bass includes a "mahogany tone block" that adds warmth and sustain. This bass sounds terrific. Tony Levin owns one and calls it his "thunderbass". Only selling because I bought a new limited edition Stingray 5HH. PM me if interested. $1450 shipped in USA. Overseas shipping no problem, probably about $140 to Europe.

How is the tone/feel of this model different from the "standard" Stingray? I assume it still is basically the Stingray sound, but a bit warmer/darker?

Apart from the the tone block, are the electronics the same as other HS stingrays?
