FS: '51 Fender Precision Re-Issue CIJ

This is a re-issue of the 1951 Precision Bass. Crafted in Japan, serial number dates it to I believe 1993/94. I have shielded the body cavities, pickup, and pickguard with copper foil from StewMac. I have also changed the pots, cap, and knobs with replacements from RS Guitarworks (I will include the originals if requested). It is in very good shape, with only a few minor dings that are really only noticeable at very close inspection. Currently strung with Fender flatwounds. Will come with an SKB hardshell case. Non-original strap buttons – I took the originals off when I put on a straplock system. I’ve since removed the straplock to use on another bass, but can’t find the originals. If I do find them down the road I’ll send them at no charge.

Yes, thanks for reminding me. I meant to include that. The weight is 9.65 lbs. Neck width is 1 5/8" at the nut.

Bump to say that I have my ebay profile set up to only accept
bidders registered in the US. Can't remember how I did it, but
it has stopped unwanted bids. Of course I still get messages from
people that can't read - but they can't actually bid unless I
specifically allow them. It's the blocked bidder list or similar.....

Thanks for the info. I was wondering if there was a way to do that, but hadn't looked into it yet. If I end up re-listing it I'll be sure to set that up first.
