FS: '51 P-bass

Up for grabs is my '51 P-Bass.
This one started its life as a Squier Classic Vibe 50's P-bass. The guy I got it from gave it a sweet overhaul, including a Fender decal, vintagey aged looking amber neck/headstock finish, Fender "F" neck bolt plate, new nut, and a Wilkinson brass-saddle bridge. Plays great, sounds even better. Only little mark is near the output jack; it's tiny and I wasn't able to capture it in a photo. Not sure of the exact weight, but this is a VERY light P-Bass. Your shoulders will love it. Comes with a nice maroon heavy duty gig bag, with at least 3/4"-1" of padding.
These basses go stock for $350 new, so get this one in excellent shape, with the customizations, and upgrades for $350 shipped CONUS. Comes with a nice gig bag too so it's a pretty kickin deal. PAYPAL is preferred. Selling this to raise money toward another buy, so in all honesty the only trade I might consider is something that I feel I could sell for more.

This is my favorite style bass. The upgrades, along with the more rounded body should make it a lot more player-friendly.

Very tempted...

Very nice! The grain in the body is matched much better than most I have seen.

I never measured the output in any way, but just by ear I'd certainly call it beefy and powerful. Drives my Ampeg very well

Bump for a great bass. If an Upton upright hadn't popped up on the local craigslist I'd be sending you money today...
