Hello all, up for sale is one of my favorite P basses of all time.
Here are the specs;
Original lake placid blue MIM Fender P bass body with 57' reissue Gold anodized pick guard
Maple/Maple P bass skunk stripe neck with 1 5/8" nut width and modern neck profile
Chrome American made Fender "F" tuners
Chrome "ashtray" covers
Chrome vintage style bridge
Chrome Hipshot string retainer
Chrome Dunlap strap locks
Tesla "50's" style P bass pickup
Passive USA CTS pots with .047 tone cap wired with Vintage cloth wiring
Topped off with Curt Mangan hybrid flat wound strings.
Everything has been shielded and grounded properly for extremely quiet operation.
Neck has been finished in a proprietary Oil/poly blend for a slick/fast neck. You want classic P bass "dub-dub"? well here it is.
Of course with every bass I work on or build, the neck has been given the full treatment. The fretboard edges have been rolled for that broken in feel, and the frets have been leveled, crowned, polished and dressed. It has also been given a complete pro setup including nut slot detail, proper intonation, string hight and neck releif adjustments. You will love the tone and playability of this bass. It has a very low action with no fret buzzing.
This bass has been one of my favorite main players for about a year now and really is a treat to play. Unfortunately, I have too many projects going right now and I can't keep them all. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
Here is a teaser pick:

Notice there is a rosewood spacer between the body and neck. It was necessary as the neck heal is slimmer than the original which made the spacer necessary. It does not interfere with playability or tone and is rock solid.
I am asking
$600 for this one. (Shipped to CONUS) for overseas/international shipping, please ask for a price quote. You can add a MONO M80 case for $150 or a generic padded gig bag for $75. Just ask.
Not interested in trades at this time.
Thanks for looking.
