FS: 60's Egmond

Hello,

I have a 60's Egmond solid body bass. It is wrapped with a black "tolex" type material. Has 2 chrome single coil pickups, 3 way selector switch, pickup toggle, mother of pearl head stock overlay and matching pick guard. Tuners are in great shape and stays in tune very well. The tolex is just starting to come unglued in a couple spots no big deal as they can be glued right back down. There is no fraying on the edges. Has a cool chrome trim piece that goes al the way around the middle of the body sort of like a binding. Not really any fret wear to speak of as there are no string divots, but a few frets could be crowned. Killer vintage p bass tone on one of the settings. I have a vintage P and I like the sound of this better while recording. If you cant afford a vintage P.... this is the bass to record with. It will be shipped in a nice padded gig bag. $375 shipped to lower 48.

People just don't know how cool these things are. I can't justify buying it myself, but if I could, I would--because all that vintage pearloid and tolex is funky cool.

I'd be interested in a few more details. How's the action? Short or long scale? What strings are on there now and how's the neck/truss rod holding up? Are the electronics alright? Thanks!
