FS: 60's Hofner 185 solid bass (project)

Hey,
I've got an old hofner bass I picked up as part of a package deal. I'm keeping the amp, but have no use for the bass. It's been refinished (not very well), and the plastic trim that went around the edge of the bass is missing. When they put it back together, they messed up the wiring. The pickups and pots work, but some of the controls don't function properly which I think is just due to them being wired incorrectly (for example, one of the tomes works as a volume, one volume works backwards getting louder as you turn it down). And the tip of the pickguard next to the jack is broken off and missing. Aside from that it's in great shape. The neck is straight and the action is nice.

So, it's definately a project for someone, but aside from the plastic trim and the tip of the pickguard, it's all complete. No case is included.

I'm asking $350 plus shipping. But I'm VERY open to offers up, down or across. I'm particularly interested in a nice vintage SS amp such as an Acoustic 370 or Sunn Coliseum.
