Here's a 1986 FugiGen built Jazz(JB-62 in pretty darn nice shape for being 25 years old. It's 100% stock the the best of my knowledge, the only modification is somebody carefully removed the "Made in Japan" from the front of the headstock. It wasn't my doing, and honestly is bugs the heck out of me, luckily it was done discretely and not scratched-out crudely as so many are. There's also a chip in the nut which does not effect performance whatsoever. The bass plays incredibly well, it's voiced on the fatter/mellower side as far as J's are concerned. IIRC, one of the pots is a little erratic. I purchased 3 new pots and a pair of NJ-4's and planned to drop them-in but I just can't get used to the feel of a Jazz again, I'm even selling my Geddy. The new pots and pickups are probably going to go toward modding one of my P's.
Asking $550 shipped/Paypal/Conus
(neck will be removed carefully for shipping)

The bass weighs in @ 9.5lbs.
The price ($550/shipped) is for the bass only, no case or gig bag. The neck will be carefully removed, the strings and neck attaching hardware carefully bundled and packed with the body and neck. This is not only a safer way to ship a guitar, but it's less expensive as well.
If an hard case is desired I have either an original style(hard plastic "Fender USA")that's in pretty rough shape, although functional for shipping protection, or a Gator that's in a bit better shape(one crack on the corner, warped a little, but gig worthy, IMO). In this instance I would ship the bass complete/assembled inside one of these cases..the price for this would be $600/shipped.
If you want a gig bag, I have a nice, fairly new looking Fender gig bag. It smells slightly of cigarettes---I don't smoke and haven't used this gig bag, if you're a smoker it probably wouldn't bother you at all as the smell is pretty faint. I'll throw the gig bag in for and extra $25, but will still ship the bass with the neck removed.
Here's some pics that were requested..Here's the neck-knot...you can sure see it but you can't feel it!

Luckily this one wasn't scratched-out with a pocket knife of somebody's house key like so many seem to have been.
Thanks, hope somebody gives her a new home soon!
