FS-70's style relic'd 5 string fender jazz

O.K. so here is another beauty.

It started out as a MIM Fender 5 string body. (newer one with MIA standard sized pickup routes)

Here is a list of custom upgrades;

-Body lightly relic'd
-Brand new USA Custom Guitars 5 string Maple/Maple neck 34" scale (ultra slim .800 at 1st fret with graphite reinforced rods) Comes with 1 year factory limited warranty.-Brand new Genuine Fender 1 7/8" nut
-Brand new open gear tuners
-Brand new string tension bar (like Lakland)
-Brand new WD (simulated black anodized) pickguard
-Brand new electronics including vintage cloth wiring, New CTS 250K pots, and vintage .047 Vitamin Q PIO tone cap.
-Brand new American made Fender S.Cobalt noiseless pickups.
-Brand new Chrome Dunlop dual style Straplocks
-Brand new genuine Fender 5 string neck pickup "ash tray" cover.
-Genuine Fender Chrome Bridge
-relic'd Genuine Fender neck plate and screws

Everything on this bass is new or has been refinished (body) You will love this USA Custom guitar neck. Having problems with your Fender 5 string Jazz neck being too bulky? Try one of these!! Only .800 thick at the first fret.

Neck has been finished in Oil/Poly blend on the back and Poly on the headstock and fretboard. Blocks are not real pearloid. They are stick on, however under the poly finish, you cannot tell. You wouldn't know if I didn't tell you.

I have labored for dozens of hours building this instrument. I was going to keep it for myself, but I have too many builds on the table right now and finances force me to sell it to stock up on more parts.

This bass would sell for over $2700 if it had the "Fender" brand name on the headstock. I am willing to sacrifice it for $900 plus shipping. I will include a free gig bag with the purchase for safe shipping (international O.K.)

PM me any questions.

Thanks for looking.

Wow not even a PM on this one?!?

Don't be fooled, this is original Fender quality through and through augmented/enhanced by a brand new USA Custom Guitar neck (with one year warranty) and MIA S. Cobalt noiseless pickups.

You won't be disapointed.

Still 34" (guess I should put that in the listing) The Fender body did not allow for 35" scale without moving the bridge and there wasn't enough room to do it.

I am planning a 35" scale Jazz bass using USA Custom Guitar body and neck.

Thanks.
