I'm currently in the process of clearing out some gear that I'm not using that much.
Up for grabs is my '71 Fender Musicmaster, I have not taken the neck off but from all the pictures of the tuners and headstock logo's I've seen on the web this is roughly what this one dates at. It has the original finish, tuners, bridge, etc. The only thing that is not original are the EMG pickup and the pots. I bought a Custom Shop Jazz neck pickup here off TB to put in this bass but never got around to it....if you are interested I'll throw it in for an extra $35. The only mod that is non reversable is the slight route under the pickguard for the slightly bigger jazz pickup vs. the smaller pickup it came stock with. The bass is light and balances extremely well.....I do not have an exact weight but I'm guessing somewhere around 8-8.5 lbs.
I'm asking $400 shipped
This bass has a great feeling worn in neck...I'll let the pictures do the talking from here on out....

The pickguard and body has been slightely routed for the new J pickup, plus you'd have to change the pots. Best route would be to get a new J pickup if you don't like the EMG |
