PRICE DROP: $900 shipped. Will also entertain trade offers for 5 string basses in the price range of $1000-$1500 ( specifically Lakeland or MTD). This is a fantastic price on vintage instrument here. |

It seems now that there is a slight electrical hiccup, in that every once in a great while, the lower pickup (the one that picks up the sound from the D and G strings) seems to cut out. It doesn't cut out all the way, but those strings all of a sudden sound like they are in the distance. This is remedied by a very light touch to the pickup, which makes me think that it's a simple fix - just some loose wires or something.
Given this information and my need for money at this point in time, I'd be willing to ship it out for $725. This is the absolute lowest I can go for this beauty. It's an outrageous deal, as I'm sure you realize. There's no doubt that you would need to do a little bit of cleaning and setting up, but for a vintage instrument like this, $725 is still a ridiculous price. |
