FS '78 Fender PBass w a Highway1 body "A Neck"

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a '78 "A neck" with a 1.5" nut width. The neck has a Brass nut w w Schaller '70's style tuners. The body is a great very light but booming Highway1 PBass body, it's smoking hot. Bass is approx 8.5 lbs maybe less. Neck displays lots of mojo. Refretted and looking good neck is straight fretboard was planed. My luthier gives this one a clean bill of health. It's a beauty.

$700 obo shipped CONUS PayPal in a Roadrunner HSC.
Action is good pickup is hot. This bass is definitely a '70's PBass. Think Bootsy, Mungo Jerry, Sly and the Family Stone, Motown sounding Rock Bass. Very smooth but loud.

I am not sure I recv'd this in a trade from MaddAnthony 59 so he could acquire my Alembic Triple Omega. It was one of 3 basses in the trade. As far as I know everything is on proper working condition and everything seems to be original. It does not have a Grease Bucket tone and I am not sure if they were the staple electronics for all years of the Highway1. Anyone w knowledge of this feel free to chime in. All I know is the bass sounds phat it's loud has the PBass distinctive tone and plays very nice.

It should be all Stock. I got it from a fellow TBer, and other than the missing BA Bridge he assured me it was all original Highway One.

No Problem. All is well! (We didn't have a Hurricane to deal with! )

I tried to figure out who I got this from, but I think it was a deal that spawned off of an E-mail, so there was no feedback on it...

But you are right, it is Loud, and it sounds Great! Cool color of Red too.
