FS: '83 G&L El Toro red w/ matching headstock, great condition
A prime example of one of Leo's last creations. All original, plays great. Swamp ash with a rosewood board. All electronics including the pre-amp are in great shape; one switch was replaced a few months ago when it had a full set up and once-over by a professional tech. There are only very small dings as evidenced in the pictures. Even the original hard shell case is in great shape, and the original manual is included (w/ a nice picture of the old man at work ) These are phenomenal basses in so many ways, which is why I am keeping my other red&red one (why would they do any other color? ) That one weighs a couple fingers less, and my lousy toddler-wrangling back counts by the oz. The one for sale here weighs 10 lbs 15 oz, fairly typical for the era.
$825 + shipping
The only trade I *might* consider is an early L1K w/ a non-maple board. Preferably candy apple red w/ an ebony board

Would be great pair, but not now... Now I'm broke. |

Anybody??? |
