(I tried to like Jazz basses, really, but i guess I'm just a P guy at heart)

84-87 Fender Squier Jazz Bass, w/ EMGs and Badass bridge. NO BODY ROUTE- battery is slipped in under the pots. (woo hoo!!). This thing is solid and tight. Unplugged, it rings like a bell, plugged in, it's a growly monster!! Couple of minor dings here and there, but nothing huge. Frets show barely any wear, neck is to die for!! 9lbs 6 oz, and balanced nicely. Has old Dunlop straploks. I'll leave em on (with the pieces for the strap ends) or put regular old strap buttons on for you. Top horn has some paint loss around the button. That's the worst area on the body.

I know how people feel about these 80s mij squiers, and I have to say I agree with them. You'd be hard pressed to walk into any of the music stores and play something for under $1500 that plays as nice as this bass.
