FS: '84 G&L L1000, Natural Finish

I've decided to sell one of my L1K's, so this has to go....even though it's lighter than my Hog!
This is an '84 (so I was told, but I haven't pulled the neck, and have no intention of doing so). Serial # B013225. Absolutely beautiful shape, natural finish, rosewood board, crinkle black hardwear, G&L tuners, with original hardshell case in great condition (some scuffs & chips on the outside, but brown plush interior is perfect)
Not a lightweight, it weighs right around 10 pounds. Some minor wear here & there, light swirling on the body, but is in as nice a condition as you'll find on an L1K!
I'm asking $850 shipped.

I am not an expert, but I believe it is Ash. I used to own one exactly like it. In fact it was my first "real" bass that I spent many years playing. Beautiful instrument.

What is the nut width? (Jazz or P neck on yours?)

Hey Sal, it's got the standard 1 11/16" nut...

It's official. I want every Wunkay I see (well, except for those egregious examples that show up on evilBay where some doofus has decided to route the body for a bridge pup or whatever).

If I didn't already own her older sister in the same natural/rosewood combo, I'd be all over this action. The black hardware is ultra-cool. This might be an earlier example than '84, Gary, as I think by that time they were making them with the "eye gouger" headstock.

Whatever the year, this is a great deal on one of the cleanest examples I've seen in some time.

Thanks, Fats! Yes, I'm not sure of the year, when I bought it I was told it was an '84....but I never pulled the neck...
