Up for sale today my 1984 G&L SB-2, 1st generation slab bodied, has the J J style MFD pickups vol / tone with 3 way selector.
Black with Maple neck and fret board, the finish on the neck has either aged nicely or originally had a gun oil tint, looks great next to the black. Strung with a older set of D'Add 1/2 rounds that still sound killer, this bass is a great playing and sounding, lots of growl and snap or mellow if need be.
Finish is in good condition, body has some player wear, there's a couple very small chips 1/16 to 1/8 inch wide, the worst are some scratchs on the side of the lower bout. You can't see them looking straight on from the front or back. Neck is in great condition no dings. The hardware, frets, tuners, and electronics are all in excelent shape. sold in cont US Ships in a plush Hamer HSC

It jumped straight up to my #2 (of 10) position, after the Sterling and before the AmerDlx Jazz. Fantastic feel and sound, dead quiet passive single coil electronics, someone will be happy! So, little bump...
