Arrow FS: '89 Peavey Foundation 8.4lbs Blue/Maple

SOLD PENDING PAYMENT

$250 PayPal shipped ConUSA lower 48 takes home a very nice '89 Peavey Foundation with super ferrite pickups and the factory molded hardshell case.

I just found out I have to help my mom out with her property taxes so I have to let this one go (along with some of my camera equipment).

It's finished in a metallic blue that really "pops" when the light shines on it. The gloss maple neck is a beauty and the chrome is in very good shape as well.

This is one of the lighter Foundations at only 8lb 6 oz.

This is a great looking, playing and sounding Foundation with absolutely no issues.

This bass has been played for 23 years so it does show the typical age related wear of shallow dings, hairline swirl marks, and two small chips in the finish. The neck is in excellent shape with only a shallow ding on the thumb surface. The frets are in great shape as well.

The case is in nice shape; all the latches work and it just has some scuffs from being toted around over the years.

You won't be disappointed by this striking blue American made classic. I know I wasn't.

I love that color! How do the pickups sound in comparison with other jazz style pickups?

@ bassguyky48...to me these PUPs sound like a standard jazz with a little more bite or aggression and punch. I never would've let mine go if it was 8 1/2 pounds. Awesome basses for lil cash

It sounds like a Ric 4003 and a Fender Jazz had a baby ...

the color is awesome.
i love the tone of the neck solo'd (almost like a precision tone). both together is agressive jazz-like as others have mentioned already.

I sold my US jazz when I got my 88 foundation. This is a steal.

It's so easy to get the action perfect on these...got that little micro-tilt adjustment in the neck. Genius...why isn't every bass built this way???

That looks pretty cool, Lucy. Unfortunately I just bought a blue-n-maple Kramer.
