Up for sale is my made in Korea 89 Squier Jazz. The body has some scuffs and a few chips. There are a couple of thin cracks at the neck pocket, and it looks like the strap lock mounts have been repaired previously. So the body has some minor issues. The neck however is awesome. Thin, fast, straight, and nearly flawless. Truss rod works properly. It has one nick in the finish near the third fret on the edge of the fretboard. Some frets show wear. This is a player, not a showpiece. I pulled the stock pickups and pots and replaced them with a set of EMG JV's. They sound fantastic and are super quiet. If you are looking for a cheap cool semi-vintage jazz bass that sounds and plays great you could do a lot worse than this. I really like this bass and I wouldn't mind keeping it, but I am moving out a bunch of my gear to try some new stuff. I will include a cheap soft case with this.
