FS: '92 USA Peavey Fury w/ EMG

This bass has really grown on me. I don't really want to part with it but I've got too many right now!

The previous owner installed an EMG pickup in it and I threw some flats on it.
It's a great way to experience quality (and almost vintage!) MIA workmanship and components.
I don't think I've ever owned a bass with nicer action. Seriously.
There is an occasion rattle when playing heavily. I suspect the nut is to blame.
It sounds really nice. It's got a great thumpy, warm sound when I run the tone at half and you still get some nice punch at full.

It has a fair share of blemishes for being 20 years old. Some small chips and scratches near the bottom and by the top strap peg.
I would give the body a 7.5/10 since the blemishes don't show up easily on the white.
There is, however, one spot that I think goes through to the wood, but it looks like it was covered with whiteout or something.
There is a small nick or two on the back of the neck as well. It doesn't/wouldn't bother playability. Neck is probably 8/10.

This has just been sitting on my wall looking pretty, with the occasional tune up and flatwound jam, to make sure she isn't gathering dust.

I'd be willing to part with this beauty of an instrument for $230 $215 shipped Continental US.
And I will consider all reasonable offers.
Maybe even a trade/partial trade toward an amp. (Tone Hammer 350, Ampeg PF, GK MB, etc.)

I LOVE Furys. Don't know why anyone would change out that great pickup though!

Nice Puppy.

Thanks! I love my dog!

I'm not sure either why the pickup was swapped out.

Decided to keep it again.
I found out this bass is just great for acoustic gigs.
