FS 92 Warwick Streamer Stage I in Flight Case

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a players streamer. This bass is in fine working condition, but has some normal player wear. It has a few scratches and nicks, but nothing major. It also has a little discoloration (as most of these older natural Warwick basses do) around the inset strap locks from leather straps over the years. It also has some blue color on the bottom under the pots from rubbing on blue jeans. The flame maple top has a rougher area above the E string from normal play.(the rough spot may be fixed by just applying wax, I don't know). I've been told that these spots can be fixed by sanding the surface a bit with steel wool and applying Warwick wax to it. I don't know, I like the "played" look. Maybe some Warwick experts could let us know. There is nothing wrong with this bass other than normal player wear. The bass sounds amazing and plays great with low action. All of the controls work properly. This bass has been well taken care of, just gigged and played a lot.
It ships in a custom flight case, made by USA Case, made specifically for this bass. The case alone is worth several hundred.

weight-8.4 lb/3.4 kg
finger board- wenge
top- AAA flame Maple
string spacing- adjustable

$1500 Shipped and insured in US. Let me know if you have questions.
*EDIT* I would consider trades for a 2008 or newer precision, atkinson pea, or other "P" type bass +or- $ either way. Maple boards preferred, bass setup and color will make a big difference.

What's nut width on these puppies? 1 5/8"

And fingerboard radius? 12" Something like that?

I believe that the fingerboard radius is 20" Its pretty flat and allows for super low action.
The nut width is 1 5/8

Argh! Where was this bass a month ago when I was in the market! Great looking bass - sure to go fast. Yes, the oil finish can be lightly sanded with 350 grit and resealed with Warwick beeswax. I've also used Tru oil and wax to go effect.

That's how it goes. Thanks for the info, that's basically the same understanding I had about sanding them.

Would trade for the right P bass. 2008 or newer fender. Also maybe an Atkinson or the like.
