Exclamation FS: 93 Alvarez Dana Offset Bass prototype signed HS by Dana U.S.

Sign in to disble this ad
Here is my 93 Alvarez Dana Offset Bass prototype, made in Korea. It's got a funky cut out for the input jack, funky strap buttons, and an on/off switch to the active electronics built into the cavity cover. Signed on back of headstock by Dana.

Definitely not your everyday 4 string bass. This bass is most known for the offset angle at which the neck is placed. It's balance and position of the neck makes playing it very effortless.

I bought it used, it's in good condition with some player wear on the body, all controls work as they should, the back of the neck has some dings, apparently the previous owner liked setting it down leaning the back of the neck against stuff but it doesn't effect playability.

A padded case is also included.

I accept paypal payments with confirmed address only, and the asking price includes insured shipping to the continental U.S.

$400 shipped! OBO

If you have any questions please feel free to ask, Thanks!

Good cheap bass. I've got a fretless with the ceramic fingerboard that is still my favorite. Swapped out the pups though, the originals were a little wimpy.

Thanks, never seen or played one of those ceramic board dana's.

Does yours have the funky cut out for the input jack as well?

Yeah, it's pretty unique. Input jack has the recessed cutout. It did make it a little tight when I modded it with the emg bqc system and went to 18v. Just barely fit the second 9v in. It really sings now and I didn't spend much at all. The neck is my favorite. Really slim and fast. Similar to an ibanez, but I like the bridge more than the ibanez bridges. The headstock has that cool spade look too.
