I got this bass in 2004, used from Jimmy Wilson, owner of Landing Guitars. He told me that it used to be his personal bass, and may have been one of the first L-1's to come into production. It was reconditioned before being shipped to me. This is the info:
Built in 1993, short scale 30.5", 22 frets, black strat style body, Maple neck w/ gun oil tint , Rosewood board, massive Kahler bridge, 2 passive EMG Select humbucking pickups, vol vol tone, Gotoh tuners, Schaller strap locks.
Bass is in good condition, does have some case rash mainly on the back and minor player wear that may buff out. Hardware and electronics are in great condition. Update:
Neck has a very slight twist but plays fine. FYI, I just had a luthier check it, there's a .0065 difference between the E and G string at the 8th fret. That amount can easily be absorbed in a setup and adjustment. He said there are new guitars with worse neck issues than this bass.
This bass really sounds huge for such a little feller.
Strung with short scale D'Add half rounds
Ships in a newer TKL tear drop case $500.00 Free Shipping conUS Trade Pending
