FS: '94 Peavey Foundation-5 ~NICE!!~ LOWERED AGAIN!!

A very nice example of fine USA Craftsmanship by the one and only Peavey Co of America!
This is a 1994 model, Serial# 0654xxxx.

FEATURES for THIS bass:
Alder body
Bilaminated eastern maple neck
Maple fingerboard
"12 radius with 21 nickel-silver frets
1.8" width Graphlon topnut
2 Super Ferrite single-coil pickups w/pickup rings
Passive two volume, one tone controls
Adjustable thick steel bridge, nice!
Chrome hardware
Speed dial knobs
34" scale; 8lb13oz
Extra deep fore-arm and rib-cage contour
Maxium comfort!

GREAT deal here at ONLY... $250 Shipped!

New DR strings, 45-125, New Switchcraft barrel jack. Era-corect speed knobs. Two of the tuners look to have been professionally repaired at the key/shaft, see pic.

The 2-pc laminated Maple neck, w/some flaming, shows little signs of wear around the lower fb edge, as some of the clear has rubbed off, (barely noticeable.); 2-pc Alder body has a few nicks around the bottom edge, see pics. Otherwise, paint is in good condition; Frets are in great condition. Looks like they have been leveled but, if you are a perfectionist, maybe use a crowning . Gets PERFECT intonation otherwise.

There are 3 archived manuals from Peavey. After some research, here is the correct one: MANUAL

Pickups are a transition from between the early Super Ferrites and the 1995 4-tab pups. They have the rings for mounting/adjusting, but have plain covers that only say Peavey on them. (Ferrites w/plain covers or Cirrus-type VFL's?) Either way, they sound EXACTLY like the SF's from my Dyna bass on passive. No Case, but will be packed well.

Onto the pics, enjoy and BUY THIS BASS!!! I can't go any lower!! $250.00 shipped. OBO. Thank you.
