With the Limited edition Spector that is in the works for the Spector club guys and gals, there has probably never been a better time to buy a Spector bass in these classifieds. There are some really nice ones available at fantastic prices.

I used to own the same model. PJ Rubal said that these are probably from summer of '99 and he would guess that less than 100 were made with the SS logo and that neck!

I never knew that. A lot of folks have to have the crown inlays. Its traditional for them. I love them either way. Basstodave, the neck on this was indeed fat and round. Not in a bad way. Just very substantial. I have small hands, so when the bass was refinished I had a small amount removed and changed to more of a D shape. Gonna close this temporarily. Possible deal in the works. Spector club members are just fantastic. They support you like family. Even when youre making questionable decisions .

Great bass! I just picked up pretty much the same thing, only a little older with the SSD logo.

Wow! I do know you love your JAR. Why not have both?
This is the original solid brass bridge, not the alloy version that came later. It was made black by a gentleman named Kevin Colbert. He finishes golf putters. The process is called black oxide finishing and shows no signs of wear. Highly recommended. Saddles are chrome plated.
