This is a re-list of a bass I just sold. The buyer had a financial situation come up before the bass was shipped, so I refunded payment and now the bass is back on the market.
The details....
I have for sale a 1999 Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling bass. It has a stunning honeyburst finish and a rosewood board. It will come with two pickguards...a black one that is currently installed and also a white pearloid one.
If you aren't familiar with Sterling basses, they are awesome. The thin, Jazz-like necks are some of the fastest I've ever played...and with the three band active preamp and the ability to switch from double to single coil, parallel to series mode, the tonal options are endless. Not to mention, they are lightweight, so they are easy on the back.
With the exception a small scratch on the back edge, and a couple of very small dimples in the finish (only noticeable if you look very close and hold the bass in a certain light), it is in awesome condition. It comes with the standard molded Music Man case.
As I mentioned in my first thread, this is kind of an impulse sale, so the pics I posted were actually taken by the previous owner. I was going to take some of my own and post them, but the bass sold so fast, I never took any....and now the bass is all packed up and ready for delivery, so I'd really prefer not to have to unpack it to take any addtional pics. The previous owner (Kristopher) commented in the last thread about the condition of the bass when he had it, and it hasn't left my house since I bought it from him, so it is still in terrific condition. So if he doesn't mind, I'm going to use some of his pics again (thanks Kris!)...mostly because they are really nice pics. Here's a link to the previous thread...
