Up for sale is a 1999 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass in excellent condition. The color is Lake Placid Blue, but has a metallic sheen to it that is not very common in the Lake Placid Blue. Rosewood fingerboard.
My brother owned it before me and he had the neck bolting modified to brass inserts in the neck and machine screws mounting the neck. No more stripped out neck holes. Makes for a pretty tight neck/body joint. Nice setup by a local, well known tech with a new TUSQ® nut.
The only flaws are a couple of paint chips at both lower bouts that were there when my brother got the bass.
Includes a Levy's CM19PR gig bag with plush interior lining, and 1" thick padding. Only flaw in the gig bag is the end pin of my MMSR (that lived in it before the Jazz did) wore a hole at the bottom of the bag. Because of the shape of the Jazz body, the end pin doesn't pop out of the hole that the MMSR created. In iron-on patch should do the trick to cover it up.
$750 shipped to the lower 48. U.S. Sale only. Paypal preferrred.
