It has been my joy to own this bass since 2003, and I have played it primarily in our church worship band. According to previous owner, before I acquired it, it was used as a studio bass. With the exception of very minimal wear and one very subtle blemish just above the front pickup (a slight indentation but zero discoloration), it is in superb condition. Feels, plays, and growls exactly like a Thumb should!
Brass frets have been recently cleaned and polished. Fingerboard has also been recently (and lovingly) cleaned and hand-buffed.
Two weeks ago, I had to replace the 9V baterry snap-connector. Wire leads were soldered, re-sealed with heat-shrink tubing, and covered with electrical tape (just for good measure). Electronics are still absolutely noise-free.
I have been supremely satisfied with this bass. The ONLY reason I'm selling is because I recently got the itch for a more classic sound, and I know I will truly miss this bass.
