FS: Alembic Epic 5 Mint Mint

Somehow, I've managed to end up with three Alembics and need to off-load one to finance other acquisition insanity. Im mostly a 4 string player so I'm offering this mint Alembic Epic 5. Walnut top, I think. Satin finish. Excellent condition, all the way. Made in 1998. Includes fitted hard shell case, also mint. I'd be happy to sell for $1500, shipped. No TRADE Offers, Please.

These Alembics have just amazing build quality. The new owner is encouraged to register with Alembic as they keep track of all their basses from owner to owner. A great bass company, very proud of their craftsmanship and owner care.

Very Nice!

A super clean example of a great sounding bass. I miss the one I had. It had the same wood combination and I was never sure what the woods were either. I believe the body is mahogany and the board is ebony.

What is the weight on this one?

That a great price for a fine bass, miss my Excel 5. If you had posted this last week I would have gotten it but I spent my Christmas funds on another bass. If I find some fund lookout...

Could be a twin of the bass I own. I believe the top wood is what Alembic calls "California Walnut"...mahogany back, maple accent stripe with ebony board.

Great sounding piece of bass art!
