FS: Alembic Epic 5-String Fretless

Up for sale is my Alembic Epic, 5-string fretless bass. This instrument has a flamed koa top, mahogany body, 5-piece maple neck and an ebony fret-lined fingerboard. The Epic uses MXY pickups, has volume, pan, bass and treble controls and a 34" scale. The case shown in the picture is original to the bass and is included in the sale.

I am the original owner of the bass and am selling due to lack of time to play. This bass has about three years of regular use and 11 years of very light noodling on it. It's in excellent shape but there are a few very small dimples on the front and couple on the back. No belt rash on the back or wear on the neck.

$1950 plus shipping (approx $40). My local music shop will be packing and shipping the bass. Let the questions and offers fly.

ModulusAcacia, thanks for the bump. I also, wanted to remind those who may be interested that I am very willing to entertain offers on the bass. I hate seeing this bass sitting in my closet, all lonely with no one to play it.

That's beautiful!!
I have the same bass but with a walnut top and with frets :-)
Whereabouts are you based?
Could you work out what shipping would be to Adelaide, South Australia?
Cheers,
Doug

Thanks, Doug. I'm just outside of Philadelphia. My local music shop does a lot of international shipping so I'll get an estimate from them on Monday, 3/1 and let you know.
