FS: ALEMBIC EPIC ('94)

This is a near-mint Alembic Epic made in Santa Rosa, California with the following specs:

Scale length: 34.00
Set neck: 3 maple w/2 walnut veneers
Fingerboard: Ebony
Nut: Brass
Nut width: 1.625
24th fret width: 2.360
Truss rods: Dual, body adjust
Body material: Mahogany
Body top: Quilted maple
Body depth: 1.750
Finish: High gloss polyester with satin neck
Pickups: MXY4
Controls: Vol, pan, bass, treble
Bridge: Solid brass, half-moon
Machine heads: Gold Alembic-Gotoh
Weight: 9 lbs. on the bathroom scale

I've tried many, many active basses, and although I put this one very high on my list, I have finally realized that I will stick with passive basses. So, this beauty is being offered to someone who likes active basses that are artfully crafted, play very evenly across all strings and are well balanced and comfortable. Will ship by UPS ground (insured) in a nice, heavily padded Levy's gig bag for $1,300. CONUS only.

Trades you ask? I'd prefer to sell, although I would possibly consider a Lakland Skyline DJ or JO, Fender Jazz, Gamma Beta, L1K or something similar (4-string only, unless it's a Reverend Brad Houser)), with cash adjustment if appropriate.

Bump for a great seller and a great bass. You can't get much better than Alembic build quality.

Thanks for the first part and bump. I completely agree with the last sentence. She's available and ready to move.
