I used to own this bass, and I can tell you that it sounds great and looks even better than it does in these pictures.

Bump for the Fourth!

It is a very cool looking bass I can send other pics if anyone requests them . I have bigger and better res pics. This bass can sound like anything you want it too as well it's very highly configurable.
Make a reasonable offer the worst I can say is no but I might just take what you are offering.

I've got my 2000 wenge 5'er I'm posting as soon as I get it back from the shop. It needed some parts for a proper tune up.

Possibly a very special 4001V63, but you may owe me some cash in return.

Right now, just thinking aloud.

??? A Chris Squire? They are worth $4 - $5K. A V63 can be had all day long on eBay for under $2500 maybe yours is worth more but I doubt it not something I would pay out to own though.
Ur NUTS if you think I would pay u anything to own a 4001V63 even if it had gold wound pickups a $2500 bass AT BEST.

Alembics are amazing works of art. I remember my old 20th anniversary, #20 of 200. The headstock alone was 11 piece laminate!
In other words.... Bump!

Although your Alembic is an amazing piece, I can't see myself getting much use out of it and I cannot afford to live a collectors lifestyle right now
