FS: Alleva Coppolo LM5 - cherry burst - pristine - $2800

Sign in to disble this ad
IGNORE TITLE PRICE; 1st-->2nd-->now 3rd PRICE DROP

Here's a great deal. I just got this bass and it's fantastic and practically unplayed--but a new deal came up and I need to free up some funds.

Pristine condition Alleva Coppolo LM5, with awesome (and rare) cherry burst transparent finish. Ash/maple, 34" scale, medium weight, hipshot bridge, poly finish. No passive tone control. Comes with Alleva Coppolo gig bag, also like new. Bass has never been gigged. 70s funk all the way.

I'm in the DC/Baltimore area. Prefer cash/money order, paypal e-check if needed (funds must clear).

$2800 --> $2700 --> $2650--> now $2600 shipped!!

Thanks. Not real heavy, not real light. Perfect medium weight. Can weigh it on my bathroom scale if that matters. Yes, 70s spacing.

Is there now a Badass bridge on there because those pics don't show a Badass bridge...looks more like a Hipshot type.

Oops, my bad--yes, of course it's a hipshot (which is the newer design Jimmy recommends for the LM5). Description has been corrected.

I believe standard, based on the transparent burst finish, but to be honest, I think this bass was built before that terminology was even used--so I'm not sure what it's really called. Either way, it's a fantastic, kicking bass!

I really like that cherry sunburst finish against the pale maple board

Thanks. This bass will start to go down in price every week until it sells, so check back often but don't wait too long...
